Details
CE (RoHS)
Purpose of Certification
RoHS certification aims to mandate the use of less hazardous substances in products under the EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive for electrical and electronic equipment. It limits heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, bromine) and, for phthalate plasticizers, additional substances (DIBP, DBP, BBP, DEHP) that may arise during landfill, incineration, or recycling of waste.
Certification Overview
RoHS certification regulates the use of hazardous substances not only in the manufacturing of all electrical and electronic products but also in final products, covering disposal and recycling processes that could impair recyclability or cause environmental pollution.
